Makhtum is a short series of two game books with sci-fi and dystopian shades conceived by Luigi “Bigio” Cecchi, author of several successful comic book series and two anthologies of short stories. More than 60 unreleased illustrations, including 12 full-page ones, will accompany you in this adventure.

Makhtum is an interactive short story. What does that mean? It means that, from time to time, you will be asked to make choices.

If you have never read a game book before, don’t worry: you will in fact be reading a book that will be unique, generated by your choices! The introduction will help you get right into the heart of the story, explaining the rules of the game little by little. You will decide your actions and… you will suffer the consequences! This story will be yours only.

Volume 1: Makhtum - Il risveglio (The Awakening)

You have just woken up in an aseptic room with no exits. The only thing you see are sealed alcoves, like the one you just came out of. Who are you? How will you get out of this room, and what awaits you out there?

Volume 2: Makhtum - La fuga (The Escape)

Knowing how to distinguish between dream and reality will not be easy in this new volume of Makhtum, but our protagonist has determination and perseverance on his side, that make him worthy of the name Solver Two! Help him in his escape and shed light on the mystery of his existence.
